Misty Hall Sandoval
Misty Hall Sandoval is the executive director at Mariposa Point at Algodón Center. She has over 13 years of experience within the senior care industry, beginning her career as a sales and marketing director. Her bachelor’s degree is in behavioral science from Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. She is currently enrolled in the master’s program at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Ariz., focusing on health care administration.
Beyond caring for her residents, she enjoys spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. She is an active member at her church and has a passion for travel!
Resident Care Director / Nurse
Meet our resident care director, Sue Baldwin! Sue has over 25 years of experience in nursing and management, and was most recently the health director at another assisted living community. She is a skilled care provider for seniors, especially those with ASL.
Originally from upstate New York, Sue moved to Arizona and joined the Mariposa team when she became a grandmother earlier this year. Outside of work, Sue loves spending time with her family and in the outdoors.
Director of Sales and Marketing
Mary Wilson joined the Mariposa Point at Algodón team in December 2018 as the director of Sales and Marketing. She focuses on developing positive and lasting relationships between the senior living community and the businesses and organizations in and around the West Valley.
As an Ohio native, she has a passion for working with seniors, and possesses more than 10 years of health care experience, marketing, management and patient care. She is an active member of her community.
In her free time, she enjoys bicycling, cooking, or relaxing with family and friends by the pool. One of her greatest achievements was receiving medals for a 35-mile El Tour De Tucson bicycle race, and 5K obstacle course. She has two boys and two girls and is proud to say she has a daughter in the Air Force.
Business Office Manager
Jose Acosta, our culinary director, moved to Arizona from Mexico in 2004 to pursue his culinary degree. In the 15 years since, Jose has spent most of his career working in assisted living and memory care settings. He is passionate about taking care of his residents.
Jose is a father of four, and outside of work he enjoys camping and spending time with his wife and kids.
