Misty Hall Sandoval

Executive Director

Misty Hall Sandoval is the executive director at Mariposa Point at Algodón Center. She has over 13 years of experience within the senior care industry, beginning her career as a sales and marketing director. Her bachelor’s degree is in behavioral science from Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. She is currently enrolled in the master’s program at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Ariz., focusing on health care administration.

Beyond caring for her residents, she enjoys spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. She is an active member at her church and has a passion for travel!

Sheri Simpson

Director of Sales and Marketing

Sheri Simpson proudly joined the Mariposa Point at Algodón Center team in May 2020 as the director of Sales and Marketing. She is focused on building positive and lasting relationships between Mariposa Point, an amazing senior living community, and the businesses and organizations in and around our community. She loves meeting new people and building relationships. She is very excited to make a difference in the senior living industry.

Sheri’s passion has been working with seniors and their families for over 30 years. She is excited to expand her marketing connections in the West Valley.

In her free time, she enjoys bicycling, swimming, and relaxing with her family and friends. Sheri has six children and eight grandchildren, who bring her joy. She loves to read and take road trips.

Kristi Payne

Vibrant Life® Director

Kristi Payne, Vibrant Life® director at Mariposa Point at Algodón Center, has been serving seniors for more than 20 years. She loves people, crafting, gardening and other activities and brings that passion to her role every day. 

Originally from South Dakota, Kristi has lived in Arizona for eight years and loves it here. She has four grandchildren, three dogs, one cat and two bunnies.

Bridget Fette

Generations Program Director

Bridget Fette has worked in the senior living industry for more than 25 years and considers working in memory care her “dream job.” She is truly passionate about working with seniors and considers it an honor to be a part of our residents’ lives. Bridget understands that placing a loved one is not easy, and she is proud to be a part of that process to both support and educate families. 

Bridget has been married for 34 years and has two adult children. Originally from Pennsylvania, she has lived in Arizona for the last 35 years.

Sue Baldwin

Resident Care Director / Nurse

Meet our resident care director, Sue Baldwin! Sue has over 25 years of experience in nursing and management, and was most recently the health director at another assisted living community. She is a skilled care provider for seniors, especially those with ASL.

Originally from upstate New York, Sue moved to Arizona and joined the Mariposa team when she became a grandmother earlier this year. Outside of work, Sue loves spending time with her family and in the outdoors.

Erin Redpath

Building Services Director

Erin Redpath, our building services director at Mariposa Point at Algodón Center and a U.S. Coast Guard veteran, worked as a general contractor for five years before joining our team.

Outside of work, Erin enjoys spending time with her son and family. On the rare occasions she’s able to, Erin likes to go camping, fishing, swimming and hiking.

Alma Sigala

Business Office Manager

Delivering outstanding customer service for residents, their families and staff has always been an essential part of a day’s work for Alma Sigala, the business office manager for Mariposa Point. She is responsible for all office procedures and uses her organizational skills to ensure smooth operations in a busy work environment. With 25 years of experience as a certified assisted living manager and director, Alma consistently relies on her skills and education. Her passions are working with seniors, reading and traveling. Alma is excited about the happenings at Mariposa Point and is looking forward to knowing each resident personally. She enjoys creating a pleasant experience for families as they move their loved ones. Alma’s vision for excellence fits right into the ISL culture.

Jose Acosta

Culinary Director

Jose Acosta, our culinary director, moved to Arizona from Mexico in 2004 to pursue his culinary degree. In the 15 years since, Jose has spent most of his career working in assisted living and memory care settings. He is passionate about taking care of his residents.

Jose is a father of four, and outside of work he enjoys camping and spending time with his wife and kids.
